We can already start planning holidays, especially that departure will be much easier thanks to 34 charter flights destinations offered by the Wroclaw Airport. Eight of them are novelties. Passengers can choose from among others: Madeira - the Portuguese island of flowers, the Greek Peloponnese peninsula and Cephalonia, Tunisian Djerba and oriental Morocco.
Among the eight hot novelties of the Wroclaw Airport, two concern Greece which was frequently visited by tourists last year. The destination attracted even greater number of visitors than Egypt and the Canary Islands. In 2014, its success resulted in adding to 6 summer destinations the following: Cephalonia, a picturesque island on the Ionian Sea and the Peloponnese peninsula, a perfect location for visiting the most southern continental part of the country.

Fashionable and popular
The new offer of charter flights comprises the following: Paphos on the south-western coast of Cyprus (Greek side), Ibiza, Portuguese Madeira and Tunisian Djerba. Five years ago the last island was among the destinations open to tourists departing from Wroclaw, but it disappeared from the tour operators’ offer. Now travel agencies decided to remind us about this historic land which is often identified with the Island of the Lotus-Eaters from the “Odyssey” by Homer. One of the most interesting propositions for the summer season is Morocco. There, tourists may relax at coastal complexes and visit extraordinary towns.

In the 2013 summer season, tourists often chose 10-11 days long tours to the Turkish Antalya. In the coming season, travel agencies decided to expand their offer. “The offer is welcome, proven by the new style of travelling. We want to go for a trip shorter than full two weeks and longer than one week because it is easier to take days off at work. In addition, during the whole year, instead of one two-weeks long leave we may go for several shorter trips.”, Michał Kozak says. Apart from Antalya, 10-11 days long trips are offered to the following destinations: Bodrum, Rhodes, Crete and Sunny Beach in Bulgaria.

More possibilities for demanding tourists
In the coming season, Taba will join the group of continually popular Egyptian health resorts consisting of Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada and Marsa Alam. After Marsa Alam, Taba is the second calm town for people who want to forget about the city noise and benefit from a rest offered by five star luxury hotels at affordable price. Moreover, Taba is a great starting point for exploring the neighbouring Israel or Jordan.
