Contemporary dance workshops will start from 6 February at "Klub Pod Kolumnami", ran by Karolina Chromczak — a pedagogue, therapist and an animator of culture. Insane Actions ("Niepoczytalne poczynania"), the name of the classes, will consist of exercises from contemporary dance, choreotherapy, improvisation and relaxation and they will take place on Thursdays at 2:50 PM. Participation is free of charge.
The instructor, Karolina Chromczak, about Insane Actions:
"The main idea of the workshop is an active work of body and mind through conscious movement. During the workshops we will focus on the study of movement, exchange of experiences and observations, creating a free space for self-expression for each of the participants, using elements of contemporary dance, choreotherapy, improvisation and relaxation. Thanks to our movement laboratory, and more, we will create an artistic product — a spectacle, etude, performance or nothing. Everything depends from our group energy and concept. You do not have to be a professional dancer, it is important that you want to express something (or that you have the feeling you want to express something), that you are enthusiastic, persevering, energetic and open to creating something together."
